Speedfactory radiator / intercoooler combo - Front Bumper advice and HELP PLEASE!
Original bumper cut out to accommodate the SpeedFactory radiator / intercooler combo.
Card boarded open spaces to draft a bumper
Hey guys, this is my first post and I'm sure I did my best to find nothing on this subject for a CRX >< Please don't overthrow my boat if I missed something. I am however, having the time of my life trying to find a bumper that will fit this monstrosity of a combo made by Speedfactory. I'm wanting to know if anyone knows of a couple different front bumpers, or at least ONE that has a LOT of space on the inside for a huge intercooler. We card boarded the front of the OEM cut out bumper to try to mock up what might fit. >< I'm not trying to get a 3 piece front end either. Attached are some pics of my headache. If anyone could please advise, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I also had zero luck finding EF people who had made this FMIC work. In fact other then you I had only seen one other person, and they had a hatch with a 3 pice front.
We welded tabs on the bottom of the FMIC to mount to the two factory front bumper bolt holes on the front core support.

Fits wonderfully, but flimsy and is obviously a POS. ><
No, it just has the radiator / shroud / fan combo on back of the FMIC. Forcing you to make brackets about 3 inches or so long on top and bottom of the FMIC to extend it out more into the bumper, because of clearance between it and the turbo. This sucks so bad, the only thing keeping me off the road is a damn front bumper. My buddy thought he could fiberglass all of a sudden and completely near trashed my bumper. It makes a good mold or sketch I guess atm. Damn man, well I really appreciate your reply and your car is nice LankorDie.
Please lord help.

Using the SpeedFactory box to make the bumper, that's next level ****.
Don't worry man you will get there! I had to cut up a few bumpers before I got it right, and finally cut up a brand new OEM bumper.
