Searched the forums but couldn't find a guide or tutorial. I just sourced the trunk weather strip for my EG hatch, it's basically one piece which sits behind the rear glass and tailgate. Do I need to take the tailgate and rear glass off? The part no is 74440-SR3-003

 

I'm not 100% but I'm close to it (I had it out once)... all you have to remove is the glass shocks and the hatch support cables.

 

You'll unbolt the glass strut supports with a 12mm - grab a friend to hold the glass up, unbolt the hatch support cables. It's as simple as pulling the old one off and pressing the new one on and reinstalling the strut mounts and cable supports.
