Default Better with 2nd clutch pressure switch unplugged

2002 accord 4 cylinder automatic. 190k miles
So the car was shifting rough 1 to 2.
There are no blinking d4 lights.
so I unplugged the 2nd clutch pressure switch to see what the difference would be. Still no blinking d4. The car shifts actually better. Still has a delay and little thump when going from P to D2.

with it unplugged is the car using other info to shift gears?I guess it is better to unplug If the switch was sending crazy info to ecu? Have only driven 20 miles or so to test.

Replaced the 2nd clutch pressure switch with one from ebay for 10 bucks and car shifts great.

99 dollar Dealer diagnosis with their expensive scan tool was to replace transmission. Same diagnosis from a transmission shop too !

Food for thought !

thanks for the update

with one going bad it's possible the other is on its way out as well, might be best to swap it out for preventive maintenance

Would there be any long term effects of using 27 psi v 33 psi switches?
