Hello 👋, I am in need of some assistance.

Recently, my car has been giving me trouble starting. I have replaced the Starter and the Battery.

It sometimes doesn't start at all and you hear a single click when you try and start the car. When it does start you hear a grinding sound like if you turn the 🔑 for too long.

I have been struggling trying to find the cause of the rough starts and clicks it sometimes makes. I am able to run a wire to the solenoid and get it to start when it has the single click issue.

clean and check battery connections, grounds, and connection to starter. check ground g101 as well.

 

I apologize I forgot to mention that I took those steps already I even sanded down the ground connection slightly with 2000grit sandpaper to make sure its making proper contact to the metal.

 

Bump. I could really use some advice. This issue is pretty terrible and I have to tap a cable directly from the solenoid to the battery to get it to jump sometimes when it quits cranking
