Troubleshooting: 2013 Accord: Oil Pressure light comes on when I break
2013 Honda Accord. 65,000 miles
The oil pressure light comes on for a second or two when I break. It doesnt happen all the time, not even every day. But its happened enough so I am noticing it. Oil isnt due to be changed for another 1,000 miles and its at 40%.

That means you're low on oil. Just because it hasn't been changed doesn't mean it might not burn off a bit, especially in hot climates. Check your oil levels.

The Maintenance Minder calculates remaining oil life from the last time the minder was reset; but, does not monitor the oil levels or tell you if it is low. You need to regularly check your fluid levels and top off as needed.
Your oil pressure light coming on indicates it is dangerously low or some other related issue. You never want to get to the point the oil pressure light comes on. Check the oil dipstick regularly.
