my brake lights come on in middle of night and run battery dead have replaced brake light switch and rubber brake light switch stopper but lasts day or two then does same thing i put in new brake light switch day or two later they are on again very frustrating

 

you may have the same or similar problem i do i may have narrowed it down to a bad control module near my rear drivers side brake bulb. ill keep you posted

 

guys can someone help me out. should you always have 12v at the 2 wire brake light harness. I dont have any voltage on that wire. i do have ground but no voltage on the other wire witch is light blue with a stripe. any help with this i checked and double checked all fuses thanks
