99 Civic Si won't start
My friends 1999 Honda Civic Si won't start when the key is in the running post, the dash lights don't turn on as well but everything else works like the highbeams, interior lights, ect.
We believe it's a faulty ignition switch because the ignition switch doesn't receive any voltage; verified with a DMM.
The battery is good and the car will run if we give the ignition switch power directly from the battery and jump the starter as well.
We have a new ignition switch but one of the connector's is smaller than the oem so it doesn't fit. The car also has an aftermarket alarm.
Helpful tips welcomed and Thanks in advance.
