It's impossible without changing your SRS Ecu.

I know the topics come up repeatedly day after day, but come on TC...you answered this already so I am going to give the answer straight from one of the old topics. I saved it so I don't have the url, but then again anyone interested can search out his topics cause I don't feel like doing it.

Its your lucky day, I just explained this to someone today via IM.
""""Take your radio out.
Take the lower center cover off. Contort yourself so you can see under, then remove 2 screws holding the center console to the dash. Then remove (pry from center) hazard and defroster switches. There are 2 more screws in there.

Then you have to disconnect the solid wire on the heat control slider, easier to do at the heaterbox.

Then pull the entire center console out. Then unscrew the climate control unit from the center console, but you can change the bulbs from the top of the climate control if your radio or radio bracket aren't in the way.

I might be off in the instructions a little bit because I havent done it in ages.
""""""
