Ive been lurking around here for a bit and this is my first post.
Hope u guys can help, im sure i'll be needing plenty.

Fist Q : Did the JDM HB come with power windows?
I tried searching but didnt come up with anything.

yeah, they did. you can find the door panels and also the power window kit on ebay. i got them, wired up and everything, they are nice. the only thing is i didnt flip the controls, so i have to lean over to open/close the passenger window.

 

The JDM SiR CR-X did...

i have mine wired up too...i flipped the controls which was pretty simple...just tested one wire at a time... but i took the writing off the switch so it doesnt read upside down....

does your auto up and down work...mine doesnt seem to work...not sure if its the switch or the way i wired it up..do you know why???

 

Do you have any pictures of the units flipped around? do they fit nicely? I'd love to do this but I didn't want the controls on the right side. I've heard you can flip them around, but i'd like to see a picture. Thanks.

 

the Canadian CRX Si's also came with the power windows...
I have them on mine.
Bonus is they won't be upside down...

 

The european EE9 (hatchback) also came with power windows. The key thing is that the cars are left hand drive and you wouldn't have to "swap" the controls.

The problem is trying to source japanese parts out of european junk yards (and not paying a ton of money).

I thought I was the only one who had teh JDM switches set up that way. Nice to know there are other people out there. (90 CRX with JDM power windows and mirrors)

 

hey dumbchild, what years for the CDN CRX Si's came with power windows?
is the switch the same style as JDM??

-> by the way, how did you guys deal with the hole from the crank?

 

mines an 88 but I think they were an option all the way thru 91
I have a factory Honda plug that fills the hole where the crank once was.
there is no style difference between the CDM ones and the JDM ones - except of course that there on the correct side of the car.
