I have a hatchback CX (Canada only) which didn't come with a cigarette lighter socket. I've put in a new centre dash that now has one but obviously it's not hooked up to any wires behind it. How do i go about wiring this up so that i can use it for a phone charging plug?

 

You should still have the main wiring already to hook up .So you just need the center console harness.

If not, then it's simple to hook up power from the 3 accessory spades in the fuse box. One is constant, ignition and headlight activated .pick whatever works for you.

Just checked now and the cabling was all there as you suggested. Plugged it in, gave the usb charger i have a little wiggle and it was alive! I'm all good to go thanks!
