I went to clean the EGR valve and when i opened the hood i could not find one does this car even have one?

 

There is no EGR valve. Due to Variable Timing Control (VTC), there is an internal exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) effect created by the intake valve overlap. Internal EGR reduces pumping losses and eliminates the need for a separate EGR valve.
