94-97 accord

Have a huge problem. Got the car completely disassembled and full access to the heater core housing unit. Removed both lower nuts against the firewall and the 2 upper screw bolts in the cabin. Disconnected the valve retaining spring underneath.

I haven't removed the adjacent ac unit to the right, because people told me that's not really required. Or is there another bolt lying under that?

But the thing just won't come out. I can feel the unit able to move pretty liberally like 2 inches in each direction, but I can't get it out. It 'feels' like something is still holding it up on the upper right corner (pictured), but I can't think of what it could be as all the diagrams show there are only those 2 bolts up top. I'm starting to lose hope.

Just to clarify, if I try initially pulling the unit towards me, it won't really budge. But lifting the unit straight up there is some good play, and it allows me to wiggle from side to side at that point. But the upper right corner definitely doesn't have much play. I'd be very thankful for any pointers thanks

sometimes you gotta just loosen the ac unit mounting bolts a turn or so so it will move around it, the heater core sometimes is held back by the ac unit

this also assumes you have disconnected the two heater hoses
