2000 Honda Accord belt issue
In November 2017 I replaced the serpentine belt & tension pulley, just recently the serpentine belt broke again! Someone looked at it & said I need to replace the AC compressor, can I safely bypass the AC compressor pulley until I’m able to afford to replace it? I read somewhere I could, by using an alternator belt for a 95 Honda Accord DX model without AC, is this true?
when you got the belt off, spin the alternator and ac pulley and see which one has roughness to it
it's not too hard to replace the ac clutch, you don't need to recover the refrigerannt to do it

You have to be able to see if the compressor is seized. I guess run the car with a belt on it, turn on AC, wait for the clutch to engage and see if the pulley spins or not.
Just my guess.
A seized compressor would destroy your belt. as far as testing that, if the clutch is not engaged, the pulley will spin easy. That won't tell you anything.
