Default Trans problem, please help asap

So on my 95 integra I swapped my old b18b1 motor with a misfire with a rebuilt b18b1 and noticed my Automatic Trans Shifter Cable was worn therefore I replaced it. The car was in park when it was jacked up on jack stands, I replaced the cable but didn’t adjust it properly at first, next thing I know the wheels were spinning while in park and reverse, but not neutral or D4. Therefore I shut the car off a few times and trouble shooted adjusting the cable and manually shifting the trans with pliers. Now everytime I turn the key I hear LOUD noises, sounds like trans is slipping or trying to start in gear even tho the car is in park. I’ve manually moved the trans all the way to both sides for park or D1 in case if I shifted it in the wrong direction but the noise won’t go away. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Bad solenoid, pump, low on trans fluid, bad tranny in general??? (The noise doesn’t sound like a starter clicking it sounds really loud and ugly)

I don't know the answer, but I have a 2000 LS w/auto.
In 2012 I had a different motor swapped in and remember the mechanic saying that it was very important, when separating the tranny from the motor, to not allow ANYTHING to move inside the tranny.
He got the new motor ready and in position, next to the old motor and tranny, before separating them.
I watched him, as he separated them. He only separated them enough to slide his fingers then hand on to the tranny side.
He said nothing shifted. He slid the tranny directly to my new engine. I've never had a problem.
