Coming home doin 50-55, went to shift from fourth to fifth, and it spit and sputtered like it was outta gas, but it had half a tank, so i threw it in neautral n let er coast to a stop. Tried to start it, n it just turns over but wont fire, ive tried different distributor but im not gettin spark at my spark plugs.

 

Timing belt break? If the dist doesn't turn there will be no spark.

 

ya, check the timing belt for breakage, let's hope not, but it's not the end of the world
