97 LX Driver door power lock stopped working the rest still work

My driver side door won’t lock. In this vehicle there is only one lock switch, on the driver door, it won’t lock or unlock with the switch, or the remote. With the switch or the remote, all the other locks function but the driver door lock isn’t moving. This just suddenly happened today. What is the cause of this and what parts do I need to fix it?

This is unfortunately a known issue. The driver door harness wires over time eventually break and lose connection. My 97 LX is just finally showing signs of this. If my driver door is closed or open just a little bit the lock button works. If the door is open all the way it does not. I believe it was a service bulletin a long time ago. Now, you'll have to open up the harness, repair and extend the wires a little.
