Is the use of a 70mm throttle body on a stock B18C5 with M22xx cams a good idea?

I'd recommend 65->68mm for a mild to moderate N/A build.

Wouldn't personally go 70mm unless it's a track only car with uber high compression and monster cams/intake. Larger TB will move the powerband more to the higher RPM range. Street NA cars under 250WHP don't normally benefit from a 70mm TB, and the same can be said for turbo cars under ~400WHP or so. Obviously there's a lot of other variables that can affect things (cam, intake, timing) but generally speaking...

AEBS intake manifold, if I remember correctly, is basically another ITR clone style manifold. 65->68mm TB with that and your other mods will compliment things well.

I noticed minimal gains going to a 70mm throttle body on a stock ITR motor. It's worth a few horsepower on a dyno but the real benefit comes from throttle response.

My experience with AEBS manifold is that in order to achieve max power without sacrificing velocity is to open the TB opening to 70mm. It definitely helped on my 84.5mm M24xx cammed engine
