Default ECM swap 2007 Element

I have a 2007 element and was getting a engine code U0107 so I found a good ECM with the same part number match and year, model and auto trans. I made the swap and engine is not starting, turns over but not firing!!!??? the old EMC starts the engine but no throttle response! HELP! does the ECM need to be programmed for reconizing the change???

Yes, due to the Immobilizer System, the ECM/PCM must be reprogram to accept your current key's transponder chip.
