Default Troubleshooting: 2008 Accord burning oil

i have an 08 accord i4, i have been seeing my oil pressure light coming on randomly usually when there is a lot of movement on the car. The light would usually come on when my oil life would reach 60 percent.I have did a compression test last month because my car was not running efficient test came back good. I also changed my pcv valve 800 miles back. I have not found any evidence of oil leaks but i recently found out that my motor is burning oil. What could be the reason after i changed my pcv valve and have good piston rings ? when i started to see this issue i also felt the cars performance was a little bad the car would burn more gas.
The car has about 145k miles on it

Hi. I have an 08 I bought with 70K mi on it and found out it burned oil too, no signs of burning and no leaks but I have to add a quart of oil every fill up. I found out that there was a class action law suit against Honda for engine malfunction for 08 Honda Accord and they have extended the warranty to 125K mi. They will have to test your oil usage in between oil changes by taping the cap and checking level at next change. If your like mine it won’t last that long you will take it in early when you light first comes on. If it is using they will replace the engine under warranty. Unfortunately my car had 150K when I learned about this so not covered. You might look into it.

If your car have an excessive oil consumption issue, you should frequently check the oil level instead of waiting for the the oil pressure light to come on.

I check my oil once a week at every other fill up and add 1-2 qts of oil.

Not sure about that K24, but the J35 in my odyssey will have oil consumption problems if I use 5w20. I switched to 10w30 and no more problems.
