Default High Pressure Power Steering Line O-ring

I recently replaced my rack and pinion since the old one was leaking around one of the rubber boots. Once I had everything back together, after a couple of days, I noticed I was using fluid. I located a leak where the high pressure line screws into the new rack. I think I may have put the o-ring on in the wrong place. This is a metal flare connection, with a threaded bolt coming down over the flare and screwing into the rack. I put the o-ring on the rack and screwed the line in. Is that the right place for the o-ring, or does it go over the flare, between the flare and the threaded bolt?

Thanks! That makes sense. The rack came with 2 o-rings. I’ll have to get pictures, but hope I can fix it without pulling the rack.
