New to me Pilot. A/C blowing warm. Service center replaces the heater core. Mileage 35k? Any ideas why that would happen? suggestions on related issues to check on?

 

Are you positive it was the heater core? The AC evaporator is in the same vicinity, is the unit cooling now? If they went in to change the evap core, they could have been following the prescription for older higher mileage vehicles, which would be to change the heater core while in there. Could potentially save the customer lots of $$$.
