2000 Accord LX 3.0l Automatic 188k:
The car jerks when shifting from 1st to 2nd all the time. Is this a sign of a Torque Converter/Transmission Issue? I know the Trans fluid is Dark colored. Don't know if it's ever been changed.
Also, the speedometer is off bout 3-5mph. The rpms go up good bit before the speedo goes up. Code P0743 showed up before.

If it is P0743, check the electrical connector to the pair of solenoids, not the 'H' shaped linear solenoids.
Use a jumper wire to make sure they click on and click off with battery power to the terminals.

Any recent work done? Check the area that was worked on for loose or disconnected wire terminals.

I've had vehicles come in the shop with the same code, as mentioned I would check connections on the solenoid open in a wire possibly.
Would also definitely get that fluid changed.

Wouldn't it be a gamble on the fluid change? I've got a car history goin back to 2006 but don't show anywhere that it's been changed before. Just hate to change it and then the tranny goin out.
