What are your views on this rust? Have wanted an EG for years and recently brought this auto esi, I was expecting to have the rear arches done as the previous owner had done a horrendous job but I knew the arches wouldn’t be a problem for the mot, took the car for an mot and it failed on both rear sills which me not really having a clue knew nothing about really until I pulled the side skirts off, the offside rear jacking point is also very rusty including the area around it which I’m assuming was the main area of concern as it’s near trailing arm bushes. Has anyone repaired worse? I have a friend that welds 9-5 and I can competently cut and grind, will a set of rear arches and sills off eBay do the job or will I need custom fabrication even with the replacement panels
