Honda accord(97): could I deactivate immobilizer and transponder ?
Someone had passed me a Honda Accord sedan
(month and year of manufacture: 04/1997).
I was not given any key to the car.
i.e. I do not have the black key, nor the red key.
I would like to be able to start my car with a metal key only
i.e. a metal key(without a chip on the key).
(security is not a concern for me)
Do I need to deactivate the immobilizer and transponder (now in the car)
in order to start the car with the said metal key?
If Yes: Is it possible to deactivate the immobilizer and transponder
so that I could start the car with a metal key only? Thanks for your help.
