I have disconnected the battery and it reset to error code 1. When it shows "enter code" I try to enter the first number and the "ode" of the code disappeares and as I keep keying numbers it adds the "o" then the "d" and "e" then displays Error Code 1. Try again and you get Error Code 2.

 

the code should be 5 digits ? might be best to drive to the dealer and ask them to enter it for you so you can see how to properly add it

 

I have called the dealership. All my codes are correct. He stayed on the phone, since I was out of state, while I followed his instructions. He had no idea why it would not work.

 

I gave up and went to the dealership only to have the guy get in my van, punch in the code and get out. I have no idea why it worked. Maybe sitting all night reset something. Very embarrassing. So, if you encounter my problem, let it sit for 24 hours and try again!
