I went to get an alignment the other day, they proceeded without my knowledge of letting me know that the left rear toe is frozen, which requires a new lower control arm. they didnt tell me that but then after when i took the vehicle for a drive the car kept pulling to the left. I didnt know that it needed a new lower control arm. But can anyone send me what i should be looking for because they priced the labor and everything at 1500. Also what should i do with alignment would they fix it since it pulls or am i sol?

 

Totally guessing but I'd bet a new rear LCA is like $50-100 (non OEM) so for a $1500 total charge I'd never go back there. Could be totally wrong but I think that number sounds crazy I'd call around.

 

they're nuts, never go back there, get on yelp and find a mechanic with good reviews and make sure to tell them you found them on yelp, that way they are on their best behavior

tell them what the previous mechanic said and see what they say

 

The place was Piazza Honda of Reading and they overcharged me too just because i have the BS Runflats

 

Its a big Honda/Acura dealership, they make millions and the place is ghetto too.
