Default Wilwood 12.19 Forged Dynalite Wheel Fitment

I've been looking for a set of wheels to go with my T/A build for mainly track use with occasional mountain road enjoyment. Has anyone used this kit (https://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Br...mno=140-6310-D) 240mm spindle kit? And if so, what wheels are you using?. I would like to run an 8 inch wheel but a 7-7.5 would be fine as well. I can say definitively that these Rota GT3s in a 16x7 do not fit. It took approximately 15-20 mm of spacing before they cleared (at which point they looked ridiculous).. I was hoping to use them for tooling around and trailer tires for track events but no dice. If you have this kit please post what wheels you went with, it would help immensely.

I found an older post with a Team Dynamics 15x7 wheel (https://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coo...-pro-race.html) that is supposed to fit the 262mm spindle kit (https://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Br...no=140-6163-DR), does anyone have any experience with these or know if it fits the 240mm kit that I am running?

Thanks for any input!

After some trial and error, this particular kit can be cleared by a 16x7 Rota GT3 with 18-20mm of wheel spacing.

Another option is the TR Motorsports FF10 from TireRack in 15x7 +35. I run these specifically for bigger brakes and they clear nicely with no spacers needed. My brake setup currently is the Wilwood Dynapro 4-piston DPHA kit on Integra/EX/Si 262mm spindles. Fantastic setup. I have also used these wheels with the Fastbrakes 11" kit and they fit fine as well.

Thanks for the info! Any idea if those wheels will clear the Dynalite 12.19? I talked to Brian at Fastbrakes a few days ago and he didn't know of a 15 inch wheel that would clear the 12.19 kit. It would be nice to have a 15 for the tire selection. Currently I am limited to the R888R and one or two other options.

Sorry, I can't say. I can take some photos/measurements when I get home if you'd like. Since Wilwood has the size specs, it's possible the folks at TireRack will know. They're always great with this kind of stuff.

Thanks for offering to do that but, I think I have made up my mind to stay on the 16 inch wheel for now. I found a build that was using the RPF1s in a 16x8 with a 38mm offset that cleared the 6 piston Wilwood kit.. I am pretty sure it will clear the 4 pot kit, if not, they should will with these 20mm spacers.

I used 16x7 Enkei rpf1 when I used that 12.19" kit on my EK. You will be hard pressed to find 15's that clear.

That is good to know. Did you use a spacer on the RPF1s? What offset did you go with? Yeah I cant imagine a 15 fitting over these brakes which kind of sucks because of tire choice but the over all power goals will probably require a 16-17 inch wheel eventually.

I can't remember the offset, but I think they only came in one size. Yes I think I had to use a spacer, minimal. This was back in 2011 so my memory is a bit faded. It looked killer, the brakes filled up the entire wheel.

Well that's good to know about the minimal spacing. I picked up a set of H&R 20mm spacers that I can use.
