Default Questions about 6th gen rear disc conversion?

Thinking about doing the drum to disk conversion but have these questions.

1. Wheel bearing - Might as well replace the bearings while I am there. What bearings do you use? Are the drum and rear both the same minus the ABS ring?

2. Proportioning valve - Does this need to be changed as well as I can't use the one from the donor Accord due to ABS. If I need to swap out what one do I need?

Drum and Disc knuckles are different. Disc rear knuckles have the two bosses for the caliper to bolt to, drum does not.
Best bet would be to locate a rear disc car as you will need the parking brake cables as well as any other tid bits that are different from the drum cars. Just grab the complete knuckle with brakes/calipers/hoses/PB cables/etc. You may have to replace some of the parts, but having the assembly is much better(and cheaper) than trying to nickel and dime a rear setup together.

I *think* the 96-00 Civic 'EK' rear disc cars used the correct six port unit you would need. But you will need to verify that.
IIRC the ABS cars use a four port unit.

I found two donor EX 4 lug cars to take the parts from. So I know what parts to get. Just not sure if folks have problems with the tone ring? I might as well replace the wheel bearings while I am there. I am being cheap here because I found a set of Timken bearing for drums for a lot cheaper than the ones for the disks. They look to be identical except for the rings. I would save about $45 on for both bearings.

I will check the Civic out. Thanks.

IIRC there are three part numbers for the 4 lug hubs. Drum, Drum w/ABS, and Disc(w/ABS). Fairly sure there is a distinct difference between disc and drum hubs. It may be the bearing portion or the pilot hole for the spindle is different between disc and drum. On Rockauto.com there is only a $3-4 difference amongst the hub types per brand.
