So I've got a 1999 Honda Accord 2.3 that's been swapped with same single overhead v-tech engine and transmission from a 1998. I've got no overdrive or D4 and the car starts off in D2. I can manually shift into D1 but cannot get D4 or torque converter lockup. Any ideas? The transmission shifted fine while it was in doner car, and I swapped the pcm module out of both cars with no success same issue.

 

Have you checked for any stored codes?
Are you sure all the wires are properly connected and the grounds and bonding jumpers are attached, clean and tight?
