can and if so what is needed to swap a 2001 CL type S auto transmission with a 2003 CL type S 6 speed manual transmission

 

it would probably more cost prohibitive to change this over considering all the electronics involved with the Engines & Transmissions just go buy you one that's already got a manual in it

 

For this swap, it would be easier to change out the whole drivetrain/powertrain/computer/etc.
There was a significant enough difference between MT and AT engine/PCM that simply swapping to the 6MT would not be worth the hassle.

 

Thank you Mad Mike what you are saying is just what i am going to do do i traded off a 51 jeep pu for a 2003 Acura CL type S wreaked car it drove i drove it for a couple of days around the house to make sure it was running good and was a one owner 150,000 miles on the car woman owned it i have the engine and 6MT out on the ground with wiring harness still attached to the engine and the ECU ready to go into the 2001 Acura CL type S i own after careful investigation this is what i have come up with the way to get it to work out right .
