i have a 94 del sol that wont start (it cranks )when wet or rain conditions , i have a solid cel , fuel pump does not come on , if you let it sit for about 30 mint with the iginition siwtch on magically the cel goes away and it will fire right away , so far i put a new oem main relay , reman pcm , ignition switch , i found a video on youtube that describe the same situation but diferent car

 

Have you check for corrosion on your ground points?

 

when it does it again, check the cel.

 

Do you have a crack in the lower part of your windshield that is leaking water on something electronic? Happened in my 90 Accord EX-R when the TCU would get wet and Id have to manually shift an auto to get around.

 

ecu wet. del sols leak like crazy, find the leak, fix the leak, cross your fingers the ecu is ok

 

When rain water leaks into the car it gets humid, suggest you fix that leak.

 

make sure it's not leaking in that opening.

Sorry to reply to a bumped old thread, but you don't seal it. That brings in fresh air inside the car.

 

Just bend up the metal tabs so water doesn't leak down into the motor blower.
