Default 89 Civic DX

i was wondering if i can use springs and struts from more than just 88-91. or if im stuck in that year range only

I might be wrong, but I think you can use 92-95 as well, but will need the front fork from those years too...

92-00 civic suspensions can be used with their forks on the 89-91, the fork on the EF Chassis has a smaller bore. The rear is a pain because the bushing is wider on the EF LCA, you could shave the Bushing sides or open the shock fork.

The spring rates are way different as well due to chassis weight, so it wouldn’t be much of an upgrade to use 96-00 civic or even 89-92 integra suspension on an EF/CRX.

I have 96-00 Coilovers on my hatch, and I had a bad time with spring rates.
