Runs at high rpm, downshifts on iitsown, stays in 2nd gear, loss of reverse. Next day drives normal at first then does it all over again
also sporadic loss of signal indicator lights
all of the sensors and solenoids in the transmission have been changed - problem remains
ECM in car is 'bk' - swapped out for a 'sb' and car wouldn't start at all
can anyone help with any suggestions?? Much appreciated!

 

sounds like a textbook internal filter is clogged, when it warms up the filter gets fully clogged with extra debris and stops allowing fluid flow

as mike would say, no flow, no go

needs a rebuild and filter replacement

 

Did you check for codes at all?

Sounds a bit more spastic than a filter clog issue. Is there ever any loss of power transfer?
