I have 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid with automatic transmission. It is having issue with transmission. it starts well but as soon as gear has been shifted from P to R/D/S/L it makes gargle noise and halts completely. In Neutral it stays alive but no where else.
Please let me know what could be issue.

 

I'm no auto tranny expert, but it sounds like your torque converter is acting up. Any check engine lights?
