94 Accord, 2.2 non vtec, crank no start
Long time lurker, and Ive found lots of useful information here. My thanks to all.
I have a problem I havn't seen before. Ill start the beginning. Forgive the length of this.
I had a check engine light, and D4 flashing light. With the paperclip method it was a tps code for the engine, and a tps code for the transmission. So, being the car is a 94, and has 240k miles, i figured id change the tps, iacv, and the fitv. Since i was already in that area. TPS if from napa. IACV is aftermarket(not ebay) and fitv is oem honda.
I used a digital multimeter to set the tps as close to .5 and 4.5 as i could, its a little low, and high, respectfully.(.46, 4.7). I also had to pull the throttle body off to get the tps off, since it was original. I used carb cleaner to clean the throttle body. The iacv and fitv were stragiht forward swaps. I used a napa throttle body gasket when reinstalling the throttle body.
Now, that its all put back together. car cranks, but does not start. I can hear the full pump prime. and i checked fuel pressure at the rail. With a leaky fitting, pressure is at 40 lbs. I checked for spark at the coil, and at the end of the plug wire. I have spark. I did not get the map and tps sensor plugs mixed up. The check engine light comes on with key on, and goes off while cranking, like normal.
Im not understanding why it wont start. I would assume it would still at least start even if there was a bad plug or sensor IE map, tps, or iacv. The battery has been completely unhooked for a week, so the computer has definitelyy been reset.
Im guessing its something I did. But the only electrical that i unhooked was the map, tps and iacv.
Im, stumped, i would appreciate any ideas!
