Default permanant DTC 28-11

Hey guys!

I own a 2013 Honda Crosstour EXL-Nav 2wd and it had ABS, TCA, LDW, & FCW warning lights on. My local dealer hooked it up to honda computer and told me it needed a new ABS control module, which I replaced myself. Now the ABS works but still has the TCA, LDW, & FCW warning lights on. I connected my own scan tool and it has a permanent DTC 28-11 that says, "Longitudinal acceleration sensor internal circuit malfunction."

Anyone know where it is located and what's the part number? I have so far been unable to find anything on Google about this part. Help!

Thanks!

The longitudinal acceleration sensor is inside and part of the VSA modulator-control unit; which is located in the engine compartment.

Ah, that makes sense why I can't find much about it. . . Thanks!

Since I still have the original VSA modulator, I'll see if swapping the electronic unit does the trick. Back when the Honda dealer scanned my computer and told me the VSA unit needed to be replaced, I bought a used one from LKQ from another 2013 Crosstour. I assumed there was another problem like a bad wheel speed sensor somewhere that was still giving me the VSA, FCW, & LDW dummy lights because I didn't want to pay the dealer again for another scan. I just bought an Autel MaxiCheck Pro scan tool for the ability to not only read any WSS errors but also to allow me to bleed the VSA modulator properly, since that operation had never been done and I have not had the discipline to actually bleed the brakes at all 4 wheels after occasionally engaging the ABS system.

Let me do a swap and erase to see what happens. This must be a pretty unique issue as I have not found widespread issues with this problem between Crosstour or Accord forums. Thanks again for your help, tech8!

The electronic half of the VSA modulator separated from the hydraulic half. . .

Well, I swapped the replacement VSA brain with my original VSA brain from the original modulator I pulled from the CT and now it's back to the errors it previously had. Scanner now indicates Permanent DTC 66-13 "Pressure Sensor Malfunction," so I guess I'll be sourcing another used modulator. This time, I'll get one from a 2014 or 2015 Crosstour so as to hopefully avoid what seems to be a 2013 problem--at least in my case. . .

I replaced a Modulator the other day at the delaer, you Are required to do a update and a sensor memorization re-learn which can only be done at the dealer.
I could only screenshot what was shown from the IN page
