Hi,
I have a 2007 HCH,170 k miles, and when getting on the highway the acceleration is jerky. I feel like I lose power too. The check engine light comes on sometimes, when its really bad, but it just blinks on and off and goes off as soon as I am done accelerating. If I want to get on the highway at all I have to downshift.
This issue is not connected with the HB (hybrid battery) because, for one, I just replaced it, and also, this is especially noticeable when the electric motor is not working.
I tried having the dealership diagnose it, but they just blame the hybrid battery (its not OEM and they want me to buy theirs). An independent shop said I use dirty gas (I use Spinx). I tried puting all the expensive fuel injector cleaners in already. Does anyone have any ideas what else I can try?
