Does anybody know what honda does when they service your front brakes?

change pads
bleed lines (somtimes..depends on mileage)
re-surface rotors

i think thats about it

 

what milage service?

 

unfortunately that i am not sure of. im sure if you call and ask they'll tell you what all involved at whatever mileage points

 

Inspect and measure usable lining. Lube the ends of the backing. Inspect boots. Inspect rotors. Inspect and lube caliper pins. Inspect brake hoses and fittings. Check brake fluid.
These are the things I do. Not all techs do the same.

 

Do you know if they sell that lube at honda?

and what lube do they use..what do you mean by lubbing the ends of the backing..what do you mean by that?

 

I use Sil-glide. Lube the ends of the backing where they ride in the sadles. It cuts down on noise.
