Hello community. I recently bought a 2018 Accord. Upon washing the car, I noticed a ring of rust surrounding the rotors edges (see picture), is this a cause of concern, and if so, should I take it to the dealer for inspection or can it be removed with brake cleaner? Please advise.

The car is about 3-4 weeks old and I assume it has been sitting on the lot for a while, the rust ring is only present on the passenger side front rotors, not any of the other three.

Since it's only on this one, might be a defect in the paint protection? It won't be an issue, just kind of unsightly.

 

Thats normal. Unless you get a high temp paint on them, they will rust completely eventually.
