Default EVO 8 Wheels on CD Accord

Hey everyone, so I recently picked up a set of the EVO 8 wheels (Enkei 6 spokes) for a really good price. I don't have everything to complete my 5-lug swap just yet but I was hoping someone would have a pic of what these would look like mounted on the 94-97 Accords. I did some google searching and only saw a CD Accord with the EVO X wheels, not the EVO 8.

This is the best I could find.....not the best angles, but at least you'll get an idea of what it looks like.

You can run a much bigger tire size on them too than in the pics posted....I think he's on like 205/40/17s or something. I'd run either 215/45/17 or 235/40/17. Both will fill out the wheel wells much better, have a better ride, and grip better too.

I ran some 5Zigens back in the day with the exact same specs. 17x8 +35 215/45/17. Was a great functional setup.

Thanks for the info! Honestly, I've been lurking on your builds, getting inspiration and ideas of what I want to do next with my accord.

I have all my 5-lug pieces now, so maybe I can have some pics posted this weekend.

** Side note, I know in other posts you've mentioned you have custom spring rates on your GC coils, Do you mind sharing what those rates are? I know most coilovers like BC and Fortune use F10kg/R6kg but I've been eyeing the Koni yellow Total kit but I'm wondering if the Eibach springs they use are aggressive enough for what I want to do (canyon/track driving).

I'd steer away from the complete kit. Those springs offer a mild drop and won't be that much stiffer than stock. I'm running 550lb front, 450lb rear springs (10k/8k converted). That's honestly what most of us Accord guys run. A lot of the other suspension companies sell their kits with 12k/6k rates....which honestly isn't that great. Front is really stiff, and rear is soft in comparison. The 10k/8k is much more balanced and really helps reduce understeer as well. Pair it with a rear sway bar, and you get rid of about as much as you can in a FWD car. Even get a bit of lift off oversteer. Comfort wise, you can't really beat it short of getting a set of Fortunes built to similar specs. I've been DD'ing my setup since 2013 and still love it. I drive to NorCal every year as well, without issue. And a lifetime warranty is something few companies offer anymore. If you need the links to where to get stuff cheapest, let me know. I try and keep up on who has the best deals going.
