I've been looking into buying the Exedy racing organic for my d16z6 but recently I stumbled upon the Centerforce II. The CF is only around $200 shipped with PP, disc, and TOB. Why so cheap? I've never seen a comparable clutch kit cheaper than the Exedy ($260) until I saw this on group buy center.

Please share any experience you have with either of these clutches. Thanks.

i have centerforce dual friction clutch. never had a problem with it. grabs real nice. had it for about 2 yrs. now.

 

how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking

 

I'm using a Exedy HD pp with organic disk and lightened flywheel in my d16z6. clutch engages smooth and grabs hard. I've had it for about 3 months. check out coximport.com.

My buddy has a centerforce dual friction on a ZC CR-X and it grips like a bastard. I have a Z6 w/the ACT stage 3, and i wouldn't trade it for anything. don't let the price get to you. just make sure you get the best part the first time.
