Icon6 Lack of power/odd acceleration

Ok let me start by saying i have a 96 accord f22b1 about 200k on it blah blah. i have fixed all my oil leaks and today realized i am disappearing coolant somewhere somehow. Ive also had this issue where my car revs super weird if i accelerate while cornering in a turn it will revs to like 4-5k and stick then drop back down (it is an auto) does anyone have experience with this problem or any possible suggestions. also on the note of my coolant leak i dont see any visable leaks so what is a good way to test a head gasket on these motors? thanks for the help sorry im a noob!

Head gasket use a compression tester or a leakdown test. Dye in teh coolant may also show where the coolant may be spraying/misting. Which would leave no puddles/drips but the dye would show up where the spray is.

If your radiator is original, check it carefully. Look at the upper tank under the radiator cap, that large flat area is known to deform, leak and eventually blow. I've had one radiator tank leak, there leaving no real signs of a leak until it finally popped. Check the tubes on an original radiator as they can accumulate junk/dirt and weep but not cause a full on leak.

My experience is that if the transmission fluid is low, weird things like you describe can happen, have you checked that.

Could be multiple things going on. Tranny could be going?
As to the coolant leak, could be what Mad Mike said and his suggestion is good-could be a blown headgasket. Could also be the water pump. That would be the other major component aside from radiator and head gasket.

you can rent a coolant pressurizer to pressurize the system and look for leaks

you can compression test to see if the head is warped
