Default Cammed B18C1 help

Sup guys.. In a bit of a pickle..

Problem: Car cranks but will not start.

Background info: Last December I picked up a pair of Blox Type B cams for my GS-R. I myself installed them along with Rocket Motorsports SL Light DVS and Retainers. The night I finished it. The engine started right up and sounded normal(a little more sharper if anything). Anyways after I go beat my dick off for being so excited I go to sleep and the next morning I start it up and it's super lopey.. As expected with putting any bigger cam in.

First question is why the hell would it run almost normal the first start up and then 8 hours later have a rather unattractive lope?

Anyways I was in the process of moving so I drove the car to my parents house about 38 seconds away.. While driving the car was absolutely gutless. It ran but no power was sustained and I felt bad for driving. Pulled it in the garage and left it there covered. Haven't been able to diagnose anything further since because I moved out of state for a bit.

Recently I went up to visit and I looked at Blox recommended settings(which I will post below) and decided to degree the intake cam to what is was suggested. Now I will mention in my visit the car started up but lope was present before I played with anything. I then proceeded to degree the cam to what was suggested and then would not start. After scratching my head I returned it all to Factory TDC.. Car still would not start.

Valve lash is adjusted
Block and Head are at perfect TDC

The big question is wtf do I do?

Is is my motor toast?

I know it was wrong to drive on a stock p72 map but I figured down the road to safety wouldn't be too bad.

Would research but honestly don't know where to start.. Any help would be appreciated

thanks guys

Start diagnosing from a a typical no-start situation:

Check mechanical timing (sounds like you may have already done this)
Check compression
Check for spark (should be white/blue, not yellow/orange)
Check for fuel (are spark plugs wet?/smell like gas?/try using starting fluid)
