The car is 1996 civic dx. Only able to find info for vtec motors. 1) Which engine harness. I have a 97 civic ex, and 96 dx engine harness. i was told to use the dx engine harness for non vtec swaps. 2) i have ex mid exhaust with cat and o2 location on it. Should i use the ex cat for secondary o2 sensor location? Or can i delete the location on mid exhaust and strap the secondary o2 somewhere in engine bay
i only ask that because i want to use dx exhaust, because its quieter.. but it doesnt have a cat or o2 sensor bung on it.

5 months later.. 96 hatch dx, p75 obd2a, 98 orthia b20, so it came with ls style manifold

 

so you won't be running a cat if you use the DX exhaust right? if so, just plug one in and dangle it somewhere. you'll have a CEL on all the time, but it'll run fine. pretty sure the pin-out would be the same for an O2 sensor whether is VTEC or not.
