Default Please help

So i hate to ask for help in this situation. I have a rt4wd wagovan and i am swaping in a d16z6. So the car had an obd1 d15b7 in it at one point but the car is still obd0. How do i go about running the engine harness to the car as the plugs are different. Do i swap the obd0 harness onto my motor. I was gonna get the rywire harness. But that still doesnt solve the rest of the harness or do i swap the engine bay harness to obd1 from a eg civic. So its all plug and play. I will upload pics tonight of what im talking about so there is no confusion. Thanks in advance

Default Re: Please help

no you use your stock harness
never use a harness from another car

you do have to modify your stock harness a bit
depending on the intake mainifold thats on the car now on that d15b7
it needs to have 4 fuel injectors if it does then the harnees will just swap over to your new engine no problem

if it doesnt then you need to look into doing whats called a mpfi swap
witch it basiclly adding the wiring so you can run 4 fuel injectors

onces thats done youll need to switch over from obdo to obd1
only if you want the vtec function thats on that d16z6 motor to work

if you dont care if the vtec function works or not
then you stop at the fuel injetor wiring and stay obdo and the car will run and drive just like the d15b7 engine did
