Hey there,
I got Civic 2000 ek, S40 transmission, I was looking for MTF for my honda. I saw at google that it needs to look like this:
I ordered HONDA MTF at my local parts store & he gave me this:
Does anybody ever saw this packaging? is it the same oil or it might be better to return this & get my money back?
Honda MTF I get from the dealer is in a Black bottle with Red label. BUT... I live in Canada so it may be different int he states.
I'm actually living in Israel, I think it's manufactured in different factories depends on your location under HONDA's supervision.
The question is...are they doing the same job or they might be different?

Doesn't matter who makes it, if it's to have Honda's label and part number, it has to be made to Honda's exact specifications.
They probably use different label designs at different times in different regions. But there is a chance that something you get from a third party is outright counterfeit. Buying from a Honda dealer would be best.
The manual transmission isn't real critical of what fluid you use. I have had good results just using 10W40 motor oil in mine.
