Affordable mechanic in SoCal for major engine work?
Welp, my dear Odie appears to have some bad lungs.
After a bunch of engine codes thrown over the course of the month and a cylinder misfire repaired, the CEL is on again and it looks like the rear cat (which was believed to be the culprit to begin with) is back to clogging up the works.
However: we can't just replace the cat because this particular '07 Odyssey has seen some things... most of its exhaust system is corroded and stripped beyond the point that any mechanic could reasonably isolate a component.
My guess is that the worst case scenario is also the most likely -- replacing nearly the entire exhaust system rear of the headers, and probably fixing another misfire. $$$$.
We've been driving this thing around the country and are currently in SoCal for the next 3 weeks. Any recommendation on a shop that could tackle this reasonably?
