2011 CR-V ECT sensor location
The FAN SWITCH is located in the radiator... which turns on the cooling fan. The ECT sensor (the one that tells the ECU what the engine coolant temperature is) is found on the end of the cylinder head just above the transmission case where it attaches to the block.
Hello,
General question for you. Is it possible for the Radiator Cooling fan to run when 12 volts is put to it directly, but blow the 20 amp under hood fuse when it runs as part of its normal operation ? For example if the fan was old, not moving as freely or if the motor was wearing out. Are there usually problems/issues with this fan ? Thanks
Steve
