Just put JDM DC2 ITR wheels on my 97 civic ex with custom hub-centric wheel adapters. I know the thread pitch and diameter of the studs are the same but what about the lug nut type? They look like ball seat, just like the ones I have on them but I wanted to be sure before I drive on Monday. I cannot seem to find this info anywhere.

 

Just grabbed one of my old original rusty from Japan fitted to a JDM R lug nuts. Picture paints a thousand words and all that.

Normal for all cars? I thought conical was just as common, like on my dads mazda 3.

 

Ball seat are pretty much used by Honda only. All other makers either use the flat seat + washer or conical.
