96 Honda Accord inner tie rod end
I'm trying to take off inner tie rod end with a inner tie rod end remover but it won't grip. Is there a certain way to do it or is there another tool i should use. Please help
Which inner tie rod end remover tool are you using? There are a few different kinds, and for the most part they work pretty much the same way. You have to line up the part of the tool that grabs the tie rod end with the flats on the inner tie rod and crank on it. If you're trying to grab onto the round part, the tool won't grab.
I usually use the type that's just a giant pipe with a bolt stuck in through the side of it. You just jam it all the way in until the bolt is lined up with one of the two flat parts of the inner tie rod end, tighten down the bolt, and attach a 1/2" wrench to the end of the pipe.
